In the Municipality of Whitestone, Ontario, standards: No person shall deposit or permit waste material, domestic or industrial waste, inoperative vehicles, sewage, or refuse on any land; owners must keep grounds drained, clean, and cleared; enforcement: Inspector may serve notice, then remedy default by cleaning/clearing/removing waste at owner's expense, recoverable by action or as municipal taxes.
