In the Municipality of Wawa, Ontario, standards: No person shall throw, place, or deposit refuse or debris (including snow and ice) on private or municipal property without written authority from owner/occupant.; enforcement: Municipality may order removal; if offender fails, municipality removes at offender's expense, recoverable by action or as municipal taxes.; standards: Yards must be free of rubbish, wrecked/abandoned vehicles, long grass/noxious weeds, dilapidated structures, pests, dead trees; no unsightly outdoor storage or surface conditions; enforcement: Municipality may issue Order to Comply; if non-compliant, municipality performs work at owner's expense plus 15% administration fee; costs recoverable via tax roll.
