In the Township of Minden Hills, Ontario, standards: Yards must be kept free of rubbish, debris, abandoned/unlicensed vehicles, noxious weeds, and dilapidated structures; surface conditions shall not exhibit an unsightly appearance.; enforcement: Officer issues an order requiring the owner to repair/maintain property or clear it of all buildings, structures, debris and refuse and leave it in a graded and levelled condition; if the order is not complied with, the municipality may carry out the repair or clearance at the owner's expense, and the amount becomes a lien on the land collected as municipal real property taxes..
