In the Township of Asphodel–Norwood, Ontario, standards: Fire or accident hazards; depositing refuse; storing discarded motor vehicles unless covered; keeping decayed lumber, machinery, garbage, refuse, rubble, ruins, waste; weeds or grass greater than 20cm.; enforcement: Officer may clean, clear, remove refuse; municipality may carry out work at owner's expense recoverable like taxes; conviction liable to fine of not more than five thousand ($5,000.) dollars.; standards: Dilapidated structures, accumulations creating unsightly conditions, unsightly storage, and overgrown lawns are prohibited; property must conform to maintenance standards.; enforcement: Officer may issue order; municipality may repair or demolish at owner's expense; costs become lien on land; fines up to $200,000 apply..
