In the Town of Long Harbour-Mount Arlington Heights, Newfoundland and Labrador, standards: No person shall throw or deposit litter on any street, road, park, trail, public place or private property except in an authorized receptacle; litter includes wrecked/abandoned vehicles; enforcement: Town Manager may order owner/occupier to dispose of litter; if not complied with, Council may carry out directions and recover cost as civil debt; standards: Residents/businesses encouraged to remove/repair fences and sheds, keep permanent structures in good repair, remove car wrecks from property and/or roadside; enforcement: After three attempts to encourage cleanup, Town shall use authority under Towns and Local Service Districts Act to ensure cleanup is carried out.
