In the Town of Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador, where allowed: Permitted on all highways under Municipality control including all streets and road reservations within the Municipal Boundary, excluding provincial highway Route 500; prohibited on parks, trails, easements, sidewalks, open space, playgrounds; helmet or age rules: A person shall not drive an off-road vehicle upon a highway or street unless at least 16 years of age and holder of a class of driver's licence under the Highway Traffic Act; where allowed: A person shall not operate a snow vehicle in any area designated as a park or playground, on any sidewalk or designated ski path, on private property without permission, on hospital/health centre/seniors home property, or where signs prohibit use; helmet or age rules: Helmet complying with CSA regulations or equivalent required for operator/passenger; no person under 13 shall drive unless accompanied by a person 19 or older.
