In the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador, where allowed: Only in Council-designated areas marked in Schedule 'D' (ATV/Snowmobile Trail System); ATVs not to be used outside an approved area; operation on highway/public area otherwise prohibited.; helmet or age rules: Helmet required for operator and passenger; no person under 13 may drive a snow vehicle unless accompanied/supervised by someone 19+; no person under 16 may operate an ATV unless accompanied/supervised by someone 19+.. Adopted 2015 under Motorized Snow Vehicles and All Terrain Vehicles Act and Municipalities Act s.414. Prohibits driving ATVs/snowmobiles on highways or public areas (parks, trails, playgrounds) within town limits except during blizzards.
