In the City of Terrace, British Columbia, standards: No owner or occupier shall permit property to become unsightly; unsightly includes unregistered vehicles, rubbish/filth accumulation, unauthorized building material storage; enforcement: City may enter and remedy; unpaid costs added to property taxes; fine $100–$500; standards: Owner must not use, permit, lease or rent any rental unit not conforming to minimum maintenance standards for water, heat, light, moisture prevention.; enforcement: Building Official may issue written notice to comply within stated time; fine not exceeding $2,000 per offence, each day a separate offence..
